Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)
Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Texas Care Stop 6 contracts with Qualified Mental Health Professionals to provide Medicaid-funded Skills Training and Targeted Case Management services in the community.
This role is designed for professionals who are self-managed, organized, and capable of independently maintaining their schedule, caseload, and documentation standards.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide Skills Training and Development
- Provide Targeted Case Management
- Deliver services in homes, schools, and approved community settings
- Maintain accurate, Medicaid-compliant documentation within required timelines
- Participate in required clinical supervision
- Maintain assigned caseload and meet defined productivity benchmarks
Compensation Structure
- Paid per billable hour
- Productivity-based incentive eligibility
- Higher earning potential for contractors consistently maintaining 32 or more billable hours per week
Independent contractors retain control over their schedule and transportation, are responsible for their own taxes, and are not eligible for employee benefits.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services field
- Active Texas QMHP status
- Reliable transportation
- Strong documentation and time management skills
- Ability to work independently in community-based settings
